MTV And Puma Revive Partnership With Four Piece Collaboration
In an effort to reprise their collaborative relationship from the early 2000s, Puma and MTV are set to team up on a two-piece lifestyle capsule that pays homage to the 1980s – two pivotal decades for the now-iconic brands. Over a decade ago, the German sportswear brand and the music television conglomerate paired up on a number of “Yo MTV Raps”-inspired sneakers that featured boisterous color schemes and head-turning color palettes. Keeping in line with that latter ideal, this duo of RS-X Tracks creations come anchored by bright and bold color schemes that alternate between a pair with a white base that ushers in teal and purple accents and a variety that opts for those shades to take up nearly its entirety. MTV branding is far from at a premium, as it comes featured on the lateral quarter of both sneakers as well as their co-branded tongues and insoles. Enjoy a detailed look at both MTV x Puma RS-X Tracks here and expect their release at global Puma houses on March 14th.

Puma To Debut The Uproar Hybrid Court For All-Star Weekend
Puma stormed back into the basketball market last year with their Clyde Court Disrupt, and now they’re set to debut their second hoops silhouette — the Uproar Hybrid Court — at the 2019 NBA All-Star Game. Offering a look that’s a fusion of lifestyle and performance with just enough retro flair, the shoe seemingly pulls in some design cues from the Thunder series, but adds sporty new detailing like a one-piece mesh upper and bold plastic overlay that wraps around the heel. Although a rich teal is used for the shoe’s base, the differentiating accents pay homage to the life cycle of Charlotte basketball: the right shoe’s black and purple detailing nods to the Hornets, while the bright orange on the right shoe acknowledges the time that the franchise spent under the Charlotte Bobcats moniker. Look for these Charlotte-centric kicks to drop at the retailers listed below on February 16th for $130 USD, and be sure to keep it locked here for further Puma Hoops updates.

The Puma Crack Returns In A Full Corduroy Construction
With a bit of help from Harmony director David Obadia, the wildly obscure Puma Crack is making its return in a make up that calls back to its own late 60s roots. While the time at which it originated garnered little applause for its German Army Trainer inspired design, the silhouette lived on in spirit through the iconic Suede silhouette. While much of the kit is similar upon first glance, the revived model exhibits a visage more sleek and visually interesting as its overlays lift ever-so-slightly higher to evoke a more apparent depth. Now arriving in a gold and cordovan scheme, the saturated tones are expressed loudly along a full corduroy fabrication, adding an illusive shadow effect between the wales of the material. A white form stripe separates evenly in compliment with the laces while the retro aesthetic is pushed evocatively through the yellowed midsole. If you’re looking to grab either pairs, they’re currently available at overseas retailers with a stateside release on Puma.com surely slated for down the road.
Karl Lagerfeld x Puma Suede Shoe
Throughout the entirety of the “Suede 50” program from Puma, we have seen an expansive set of collaborations that tap into creatives from all over pop culture. Seeing the silhouette transform with the luxe leather finishings of MCM and the pure craftsmanship of United Arrows director Poggy, the Suede has clearly showcased its almost limitless potential. The German footwear company is not quite done, however, as it gears up to launch a thoughtfully curated capsule with the fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld. Lagerfeld has spent the majority of his career working within the fashion industry, establishing himself as a notable name from the age of 17. Offering up his expertise to luxury names like Balmain, Fendi, and Chloe, he has surely honed his own eclectic design sense that blends a bit of edge into high-end clothing. Infusing that same ideology into this collaborative capsule, Lagerfeld crafts two unisex Suede colorways that take on his iconic look as inspiration. While both are finished with a monochromatic palette, the first sports a primarily white upper with a black form stripe and a removable sunglass detailing that rests on top of the lace unit. The second is a more contemporary set piece that is heavily reminiscent of a tuxedo as the black upper is subtly adorned with blazer lapels as well as a striking collared shirt and tie detailing down the middle. Retailing at $120 USD, the two silhouettes will be available for preorder on KARL.com and Puma.com on October 18th while a worldwide release is slated for October 19th.
