Converse Partners with Carhartt WIP for Chuck 70 “Gore Tex” Pack
Converse extends its lengthy collaborative reach this season with an upcoming release with Carhartt WIP. Landing later this week on the tail-end of the cold weather season, the budding duo outfits the Converse Chuck 70 in a reinforced shell for weather protection. Featuring black and white colorways wrapped in Gore Tex protective coating, a waterproof inner further ensures that the shoe is completely set to withstand harsh conditions. Vibrant yellow accents line the heel of the shoe in ode to its hi-vis inspiration. To finish, a co-branded footed punctuates the look of the set which will land at retailers on February 21.
Converse Golf Le Fleur “Industrial” Pack
Tyler, the Creator’s Converse partnership is among the most fruitful in sneakers. It’s certainly helped revive Converse, and maintains as one of the many ventures that place them high above where they once ranked culturally. His ongoing “Golf Le Fleur” Converse One Star collection has increased by two with a set of two-tone styles that come produced in premium leather. Set in blue/green and white/black-green colorways, both are already popping up at select retailers overseas. This is to suggest that a Stateside release is coming soon. More details to come.
Converse Chuck 1970s High Tops
Converse reworks the iconic Chuck 70 with a trio of faux pony hair motifs that implement various patterns, like camouflage, giraffe, and even a simple glossy black finish. Placed onto thick off-white midsoles that gives each style a throwback aesthetic, these offerings also incorporate the classic Chevron star with a leather application onto the medial panels for a premium level of polish.
