Nike LeBron 16 “Medicine Ball”

Today, we have a first look at that unique model that borrows the color scheme from the beloved Air Trainer 3 “Medicine Ball”. In fact, that influential pair is scheduled to re-release some time this year in its original make-up. Nike LeBron 16 For this hoops-ready model, it borrows the shape of the aforementioned LeBron 16, but it ushers in overlays borrowed from the Trainer 3 as well as its instantly recognizable forefoot strap and throat perforations. Color blocking wise, it comes ripe with its original Midnight Navy and Ginger tones all throughout the durable upper of the 16. Nike LeBron 16 Low “Safari”
Set to release as part of the Nike LeBron 16‘s #LeBronWatch campaign, the “Safari”-colored version of the LeBron 16 Low has a lot more to do with the year 2003 than you might expect. Mimicking the revered atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Safari” from that year, the time-tested aesthetic has gone on to adorn a plethora of silhouettes in its stead, and 16 years later it makes perfect sense to revive the animalistic vibes on the king’s 16th signature model. Furthermore, 2003 is the year that the Cleveland Cavaliers selected James number one overall, kickstarting his rise to fame and glory so close to his hometown of Akron, Ohio. Aesthetically, this hoops-ready model equips a zip-up construction in support of its customary lacing system as well as an upper that borrows its entire look from that famed design from over a decade and a half ago with premium suede panelling and a lone Nike Swoosh on each heel. With plans for this LeBron 16 Low to release on March 2nd, enjoy another official look here and stay tuned for more store links as they come available in advance of the drop.

Nike LeBron 16 “Buzz Lightyear”
On the heels of a recently-released Nike LeBron Soldier 12 color scheme designed for Toy Story’s “Woody”, the Swoosh and the King are paying homage to the Cowboy’s Astronaut counterpart, Buzz Lightyear. Borrowing the heroic action figure’s signature colors, this version of LeBron 16 equips a primarily white Battleknit upper with green and purple details mixed in on its sole unit, heel loop, and its Zoom Air cushioning. Other than its colorway, this hoops-ready creation calls upon all of the sneaker’s usual embellishments the likes of “23” throat branding and a large “LBJ” and signature logo on its tongues. Fans of the King’s signature line looking to goto infinity and beyond with these LeBron 16s will be able to do so when they hit Nike hoops retailers on February 28th.
