Nike Kyrie 5 Duke PE
Kyrie Irving’s career at Duke was far from glorious. After playing in just eleven games, the freshman guard suffered a season ending injury and never played a game in a Blue Devils uniform again, as he went straight to the draft and was selected number on overall by the Cavaliers. While that may be the case, Irving still has roots tied to Durham, and constantly shows his love to Coach K and the rest of America’s most recognizable college basketball program by way of exclusive sneakers and PEs. Now, the love is being shown to the fans as a fiery blue Duke PE of Irving’s Nike Kyrie 5 is releasing at retailers on March 14th. Other than its attractive flame-equipped upper, this hoops-ready model ushers in a Blue Devil logo on its throat as well as a matching outsole unit contrasted by a stark white unit in between that and its upper.

Nike Kyrie 5 White Metallic Gold-Pure Platinum Basketball Shoes
At the moment, Kyrie Irving is the starting point guard of the the Eastern Conference-competitive Boston Celtics. While that may not be the case after this Summer, all of Irving’s – and Nike for that matter – focus is on the Celtics and coming up with city-appropriate color schemes of his revered Kyrie 5 sneaker. For its next grade school color scheme, the Swoosh is introducing another Irish colorway that comes primarily dressed in white and metallic gold but then ushers in Celtic-green on its unique outsole unit. While these colors are nothing new to Irving’s line, this new take is quite possibly one of the cleanest renditions. Set to arrive at global hoops retailers on Mach 1st, enjoy a detailed set of images below and tell us if you’ll be grabbing a pair when they drop.

Nike Kyrie 5 “Cookies And Cream”
After serving as part of Nike’s All-Star Weekend releases via a Rokit collab and also joining the commemorative BHM pack, Kyrie Irving‘s Kyrie 5 is now set to drop in another new colorway: an appetizing “Cookies And Cream.” These Kyries interpret the classic Nike Basketball color scheme in commendable fashion, using a white mesh for the base while dressing the Kyrie 5’s signature flytrap lace shroud, the Swoosh, and all-seeing eye inspired heel piece in a stark black. The midsole calls upon the same shade of black as the upper, but adds white speckled detailing to hammer home the look with an extra pop of dessert-inspired detail. Look for these new Kyries to release February 22nd for $130 USD at the retailers listed below, and be sure to stay tuned to see how the all-world point guard/famous flat earth truther and his Boston Celtics perform in the second half of this NBA season as well.

Rokit x Nike Kyrie 5 “All-Star”
Kyrie Irving‘s game is electrifying, invigorating, and inspiring. From lavish layups to confounding crossovers, the famous flat earth truther certainly knows how to put on a show while getting the job done. Needless to say, his style of play translates perfectly to the NBA All-Star Game. And this year, his on-court kicks will stand out just as much as his play style thanks to up-and-coming streetwear brand Rokit, who’s linked up with Nike for a special ASG-ready take on the Kyrie 5. Combining a black and grey base with a plentiful helping of bright blue, red, and neon green accents, the shoes recall popular “Nerf”-style releases of years past, but do it in their own special way. The unique features stand out just as boldly as the loud colorway too: a large backward swoosh adorns the midfoot, and the flytrap-inspired overlay is done up in a translucent plastic for a compelling layered effect. The shoe’s then completed by a bold Rokit text logo on the heel and a translucent green outsole. Kyrie’s new kicks will drop February 16th — just in time for All-Star Sunday — so find out what retailers will have stock below if you’re looking to secure a pair for yourself.
